A new initiative is making Central Indiana more inclusive for people with sensory sensitivities. Led by Jessica Willits of Neurodiversity Connection, Sensory in Indy is partnering with local venues—from play gyms to mental health providers—to offer sensory-friendly deals and experiences throughout April. As a mom of two autistic boys, Jessica Willits understands how difficult it can be for families to find spaces that truly welcome and support them. That’s what inspired her to launch Sensory in Indy—a month-long initiative designed to bridge that gap and connect families with inclusive, sensory-friendly experiences.
