Pacers Bike Share
Sensory In Indy Offer: One free hour for an Adaptive Bikes rental (say you’re from Sensory in Indy in the reservation form) and free rides on Pacers Bikeshare for Marion County Residents - IndyRides Free.
Who they are: Pacers Bikeshare is a program of the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene and Marilyn Glick. The Indianapolis Cultural Trail creates, inspires and sustains connections and cultural experiences that are accessible for all. The Indianapolis Cultural Trail is both a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and a world class, internationally recognized linear park: the Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene and Marilyn Glick. In partnership with the City of Indianapolis, the organization also manages Pacers Bikeshare, Indianapolis’s system of shared bikes. Bikeshare is a public bicycle sharing system where bikes and e-bikes are available to individuals to use for a fee. In Indianapolis, a network of 52 bike stations are located within a few blocks of one another on or near the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. In 2024, Pacers Bikeshare launched a free annual pass program for Marion County residents - IndyRides Free - which allows for unlimited free 30 minute trips using Pacers Bikeshare for those 18 years and older.
What they do: Pacers Bikeshare bikes are available when you need them near your favorite spots, your office, or your neighborhood. Once you are done with your ride, simply dock your bike at any of the available stations. The Cultural Trail also has an Adaptive Bikes program. Adaptive bicycles are specifically designed to make it possible for people who aren’t comfortable riding a traditional two-wheeled bicycle or have mobility challenges that make it difficult to safely ride a two-wheeled bike.
