No more mild. Let’s stop with it “mild” - No more describing autism symptoms or meltdowns as mild. You think that the person - adult, kiddo, baby - experiencing the overstimulation, sensitivity, overwhelm, or whatever indescribable situation they are amidst perceives, feels, or understands it to be MILD, regardless of what it may look like on the outside?

Let’s do better. What if we say some symptoms may seem more APPARENT than others? Is this a better way to respect and honor our autism community? What do you think?
